Psalm 100: Make a joyful shout to the Lord, all you lands!
Serve the Lord with gladness;
Come before His presence with singing.
Know that the Lord, He is God;
It is He who has made us, and not we ourselves;
We are His people and the sheep of His pasture.
Enter into His gates with thanksgiving,
And into His courts with praise.
Be thankful to Him, and bless His name.
For the Lord is good;
His mercy is everlasting,
And His truth endures to all generations.
Role of the Choir: There is no musical instrument created by God more wonderful than the human voice. It is the only instrument which can produce music coupled with words to serve Him with gladness and sing to Him songs of praise and thanksgiving. It is He who has given us life and has given life to our voices. The choir uses these gifts of God to serve Him by serving the congregation. The choir’s joy is amplified knowing their songs enrich the church and edify her members. Regardless of the number, the choir enters God’s house with the committed willingness to sing from their hearts special anthems and sing from their lips hymns of glory.
There is peace in the promise that God’s Word, His Truth, shall endure through all generations. We pray that by God’s grace we may continue to live in that promise as long as this church stands, and encourages all confirmed members with love of singing to join the choir in its service to the Lord and the congregation by proclaiming His Word and His Truth here on earth until we join His choir forever in His glory.
Men’s Choir: A Men’s Choir has been organized. All men of the congregation are invited to participate.
